STATAverse connects Stata commands to the observations, calculations and graphs they produce. The beginner path introduces data inspection, transformations, grouped summaries and regression. Visual labs cover matching and reshaping records, partial regression, influence, repeated-sampling inference and instrumental variables. The IV lab distinguishes a weak first stage from an invalid instrument and lets students examine Anderson–Rubin confidence sets, including unbounded and disconnected sets.
The browser implements a documented subset of Stata. Students can import local data, retain original sources, save work on their device and export a project for native Stata. The reference library retains advanced workflows that require native Stata and, where specified, additional packages.
