The proposed dataset uses Brockmann-Helbing-style effective distance (shortest-network-path through a probability-weighted flow graph) instead of geographic great-circle distance. Planned outputs include gridded pairwise effective-distance matrices at country, regional, and urban-rural levels.
The companion paper is in preparation. Coverage, release venue, and application results remain to be verified.
